Legal separation is an agreement, where married couple wants to live apart, but stay legally married. Usually some couples prefer legal separation than divorce. Legally separated couples can’t marry someone else. To get a legal separation, the required documents will have to be filed with the proper court, beginning with a petition by one or both sides.

LEGAL SEPARATION WITH MINOR CHILDREN
Legal Separation with Minor Children is used to get a legal separation when two sides have children together or the wife is pregnant. Legal separation with minor children is respective if you have property or debts that you and your spouse need to divide.

LEGAL SEPARATION WITHOUT MINOR CHILDREN
Legal Separation Without Minor Children is used to get a legal separation when two sides have no children together or the wife is not pregnant. Legal separation without minor children is respective if you have property or debts that you and your spouse need to divide.

LEGAL SEPARATION RESPONSE
Legal Separation Response is used to respond if you have been served with a Petition for egal separation. If you have been supplied with a Petition, you have 30 days to inform the Court if you want to fully take place in the legal separation process. You may do this even when you are agree with everything the Petition says.

LEGAL SEPARATION AMENDMENT
Legal Separation Amendment is used if there are changes on forms that have already been supplied on the other side or have already been presented in court. Essentially any document filed with the court before to the entry of Judgment can be amended. The amendment could be because of a clerical or typographical error, or a change in the terms of an convention. The Court will let you to amend your Petition only one time without getting allowance from the Judge in advance.

Marital Settlement Agreement is used when you and your spouse want to finalize the division of property and debts and/or spell out the terms of any child custody, visitation, or support agreements in case of divorce or legal separation.
